We have to start our list with the Rising Café – From the Rubble. Serving up a treat with local cuisines as well as being vegetarian friendly, the Rising Café also has an array of vegan options. Boasting 5-star reviews online, this café offers something for everyone’s taste buds!

From freshly baked scones (not forgetting the clotted cream) to a healthy portion of chilli con Carne, sit back and enjoy, with customer service that is also second to none!

Café Shanti is also a top contender offering a range of vegan Indian meals. However, be prepared because the portion sizes at Café Shanti are very generous. With options such as curry, falafel, lasagnes, cakes, and specialty teas and coffees, you will be spoilt for choice at this very friendly and welcoming vegan restaurant!

If tapas is more your thing, then we’d recommend the Ole Ole Tapas Bar and Restaurant in The Lawns, Lincoln.

Based in Lincoln’s Cathedral Quarter is the Bailgate Deli. A vegan/vegetarian deli offering homemade food, including salads and artisan bread, all washed down with a tasty coffee. However, it is their vegan breakfast and mezze that Bailgate Deli is most renowned for. Oh, and as well as being fully vegan with vegetarian options, they’re also dog friendly, so no one has to miss breakfast at the café!

Lawson’s bar and bistro situated in a quaint street in Lincoln, known as The Strait, offers superb Italian, French, and European dishes. Vegetarian friendly, it also has a good selection of vegan recipes available to choose from too. Lawson’s bar and bistro is a family-run bistro that offers modern interpretations on retro dishes. Sourcing excellent and seasonal produce and providing all of their customers with warm and welcoming service, this bistro is all about making you feel entirely at home.

Something for the entire family is what Café Gelato offers! A vegan and vegetarian café in Lincoln is providing hot lunches, but most importantly, it has some of the best milkshakes, smoothies, cakes, and ice creams around! The atmosphere and staff are what help to make this place so friendly and completely relaxing. If you’re in Strait visiting, we’d definitely recommend a trip to Café Gelato.

Kine, in West Parade, Lincoln, well what can we say, their food is simply mouth-watering! With a good menu choice, you will also find vegetarian dishes, vegan-friendly dishes, and gluten-free options. The food at Kine certainly lives up to its 5-star online ratings, and the excellent service and atmosphere the team at Kine has created all help to add something a little bit extra.

Pimento tea rooms based in the popular shopping districts of Steep Hill in Lincoln are well-known for being a vegetarian-friendly tea room offering a variety of meals, snacks, and cakes.
